The International Society for Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (ISEAPA) invites expressions of interest and proposals to host the North American Productivity Workshop (NAPW) 2027.
About NAPW
NAPW
is a flagship biennial conference of the productivity and efficiency
analysis community, bringing together researchers from around the world
to exchange ideas, present new research, and foster
collaboration—particularly for early-career scholars.
Previous hosts of this prestigious international event include Virginia Tech, University of Miami, Rice University, New York University, and the University of Toronto, among others.
Format, Timing, and Size
Format: In-person
Duration: 3–4 days, typically around June
Attendance: Approximately 100–200 participants
Who Can Apply
Universities or research institutions in North America
Organizing committees proposing suitable conference venues or hotels
Facilities
Ideally:
One plenary room (capacity ~200)
5–7 parallel-session rooms (capacity ~30 each)
Access to affordable accommodation, including options for students and early-career researchers
Financial Model
NAPW
is expected to be largely self-financing through registration fees,
sponsorship, and institutional support. ISEAPA provides guidance based
on prior experience and may sponsor or help identify sponsors for
selected activities.
Submission
Expressions of interest are encouraged by 1 March 2026. Final selection will be made by the ISEAPA Executive Board.
