A tenure-track position (assistant professor of management) is open at New Mexico Tech. The preferred area is supply chain management, but the preference is (very) broadly defined (e.g., logistics and transportation and urban systems and global value chains are relevant). We will consider strong candidates in any management and economics and operations research area as long as the person can teach production management, intro management science, supply chain management, and a flexible course in accounting, economics, or finance. A Ph.D. is required, but there is no degree discipline restriction. The teaching load is 2+2 (or 2 + 1 (summer) +1), 12 credits in total per year. Our class is usually small (10-20 students on average). The position is more research-oriented, with good peer-reviewed publications and grant funding expected for tenure. There will be a startup research fund set up for the new hire to establish his/her research program in the first three years.
